I joined my first yoga class when I was 16. It was a time when I was doing exams, I wasn't coping very well; unable to sleep, throwing up before the exam etc. By practising yoga it allowed me to breathe through my anxiety and got me through my exams.
Since then yoga has helped me get through stress, self destruction and postnatal depression.
Yoga is not a religion, it is a way of life and a physical practice.
I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, with Yoga London, in 2015 and went on to qualifying as a pregnancy and post natal teacher a year later.
I have taught in gyms, halls and studios, to many different people, some with injuries, some without, people who can get their leg behind their head, as well as people who struggle to find their balance.
Yoga is for every type of body.
Within my classes I cater to my students, adjusting throughout, encouraging them to work with their body using props if needed and remembering to breathe.
